New trailers ship with a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin, which is the document your state uses to issue a title and registration in your name. Requirements differ by state, so check your local threshold before you buy.
Match your vehicle's tow rating to the trailer's GVWR, not to its empty weight. The rating plate on each listing states axle count and hitch type, with GVWR shown wherever the manufacturer publishes it, and our towing guide walks through the arithmetic.
